How my travelling started ? Page-2
I can still remember the day as if it were yesterday. Two years back one night my friend Vaibhav called me and said, Bro! tomorrow morning at 4:am we are leaving for Haridwar (Uttarakhand, India) . Be ready, I'll pick you up. And I was like what the hell he is talking about but then he said he is very serious. I replied Ok! I'll be ready then. So that's how my first trip was planned.
I want you to know that Haridwar is not a tourist spot. It is a religious place. Haridwar is regarded as one of the seven holiest places to Hindus. This place is famous for the river Ganga and temples.
So, as he said he was there at my place at 4:am and we both took the bus for Haridwar. It takes around 3-4 hours to reach Haridwar. In the middle of the journey he told me, tomorrow is my exam (practical). So, we have to return back today only, we can't stay there. At that moment I was very angry with him because I wanted to stay there atleast for one night to enjoy the trip peacefully but Vaibhav insured me that we are not going to miss anything in Haridwar, we are going to have fun. I also have to accept that because that practical was important for him. When we reached we completed everything as per our plan. We had a great time there. You must be thinking what kind of fun we had at that kind of place. But honestly everything was amazing. We returned back home on time. So, all in all i finally completed my first trip successfully.
That day I learned so many things about travelling. In life if you get a chance to go some where, don't leave it. Just go for it, don't think too much. Travelling helps you in so many ways. It is like taking break from your life to live for yourself only. Just live in the moment, enjoy the journey, enjoy the view and be thankful for this beautiful life.
